Wisconsin Farm Bureau to hold essay contest for students in 4th and 5th grade.

Each year Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation and We Energy sponsors the Ag in the Classroom Essay Contest, open to all 4^th and 5^th grade students in Wisconsin.  The essay is promoted in grade schools throughout the state by county Farm Bureaus.  Your child’s teacher may already have your child participating in this contest, but in the last few years it has gotten harder for teachers to fit this into their curriculum.  Therefore, we are informing parents and students that they may participate individually.

Essays written by Walworth County 4^th and 5^th graders need to be submitted to the Walworth County Farm Bureau by April 1, 2019 where the top three essays will be selected based on content, grammar and spelling, and neatness.  The top three winners will receive $25 (1^st place), $15 (2^nd place), and $10 (3^rd place).
