Soil Test Kits

Soil testing is key to understanding the acidity or alkalinity of your soil and the nutrient levels that are already there. Many gardening resources give general recommendations for applying fertilizer and other amendments to garden soils and lawn, however, these can be in excess of what is necessary for plant health. Excess nutrients can cause problems in our ground and surface water. Soil testing will give you precise scientific information about your soil so that you will have specific recommendations for your yard.
